To make this oil, fresh jewelweed is infused in Organic Cold Pressed Soybean Oil and Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. The jewelweed grows naturally on my property and is not treated with any pesticides or chemicals.  I hand pick, wash, chop and infuse the plant for 8+ hours on low heat, then it is allowed to continue to infuse naturally while cooling before bottling. After infusion, the oil is strained through fine cheesecloth to insure there are no plant particles, and the oil is clear. After bottling, it is storied in a cool, dark shed to preserve its freshness.  The stems, leaves and flowers are used in the infusion. This Jewelweed Oil is perfect for making soap, salve, spray, or whatever else you may have in mind!
